Abiola's Daughter Calls The Government 'Bastards' For Naming UNILAG After Her Father
While the students of Moshood Abiola University protested the name change, Abiola's daughter Olawunmi Abiola expressed bitterness over the development.
Olawunmi posted on twitter: "Naming a university after my dad doesn't make up for wat u all did to him...BASTARDS".
Late MKO Abiola's daughter was obviously showing anger over the way her father died. In 1994, MKO Abiola was arrested after he declared himself the lawful president of Nigeria. This order came from military President General Sani Abacha, who sent 200 police vehicles to bring him into custody.
Moshood Abiola was detained for four years, he died under suspicious circumstances on the day that he was due to be released, on July 7, 1998.
It seems no one is happy over this name change? Not even the family of Late MKO Abiola.

I think the girl want to open up her father's covered secrets. If she doesn't know, Nigerians can tell her. As at that the military government wasn't happy with Abiola, because he had betrayed them. Has she forgotten that the military out of stupidity made Abiola a rich man, from Charles Taylor loot from Liberia. Let Abiola's daughter think of all these and many more that he did, before calling our only government BASYARD. She should think well. Let your father have rest in heaven. God bless Nigeria.
