Messi Wins FIFA World Best Player 2012
FIFA World best footballer of the year has known just one name for the past four years, and that name is Lionel Messi. The Argentine footballer won the 2012 world footballer of the year.
He becomes the first player to win four consecutive Ballons d'Or, breaking the record he jointly held with former France international, and current Uefa president, Michel Platini.
This is coming after bagging 2009, 2010, 2011. He scored 91 goals for Barcelona and Argentina in 2012.
