The Boko Haram men have promised a cease fire and heads on for a negotiation with the Federal Government. In this their "peace talk", Boko Haram named the former Head of State and presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), among six prominent northerners, to mediate between the group and the Federal Government.

This would be interesting, FG has already accepted the move via a statement by Dr. Reuben Abati, Presidential Spokesman.

But the gbege wey dey inside be say, Boko Haram picked the venue for the "Peace Talk" to be Saudi Arabia and not Naija, hitting on their past experience of the insincerity of the Nigeria government for dialogue and its betrayal in the past.

Spokesman for Boko Haram, Abu Mohammed Ibn Abdulazeez(second in command sha), listed the other mediators to follow Buhari: Dr. Shettima Ali Monguno, former Yobe State governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim, Ambassador Gaji Galtimari and Hajia Aisha Wakil and her husband, Alkali Wakil.
