Suicide Bomb Explosion Hits Shehu of Borno's Palace
The Shehu of Borno, Umar Garbai Abba Kyari, and the Deputy Governor of Borno, Zanna Umar Mustapaha escaped an attack by a suicide bomber that attacked the palace of the Shehu of Borno in Maiduguri, Borno State, claiming several lives.
This attack came at about 2pm shortly after Friday prayers. The bomb was said to have detonated just a few meters away from the Shehu and the deputy governor.
We hear that about five persons lost their lives. However, Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa, an official of the Joint Task Force, an anti-terror group made up of the police and soldiers, told reporters that only five persons died in the attack. He claimed that six other persons, among them two soldiers, were wounded.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks as at press time. The area of the blast has been cordoned off by men of the Joint Task Force comprising of army and the Nigerian police force.

Nigerians are being instigated into fighting each other in d guise of religious crisis... Muslims killing Christians n Christians are retaliating (reprisl attacks, as it is called)!!!; Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau, Yobe, Kano, Maiduguri (we've seen so much death that the Country has not experienced since the civil war)... Are the masses so foolish that they can't see they are being used? We've lived in d same neighbourhood, grew up 2gether, ate 4rm d same lunch box, wore each other's clothes in school, sat side by side in class, played in d same team, slept on d same bed, n used d same toilets. We are the same. We are all NIGERIANS

Simple answer,"our sons/daughters, fathers/mothers,husbands/wives, uncles/Aunties,nephews/nieces.We are killing ourselves and destroying our own properties. If the Government wants 2 end this insecurity n BLOOD BATH today, they can and they will... But then, they dnt want to..Why then are we fighting each other.? We need to Use our brains people. The Government is not ready to tackle this issue.Why should they even care?
