In the season of rumours, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as Dbanj has debunked rumors of his death.
Dbanj said he was very much alive as he tweeted: ‘Pls ignore the nonsense rumours. I’m very much alive and well! Thanks be to God! Thank you 4 all ur concern‘.

The rumours of Dbanj dying came up from a blog that posted an article on April Fools day. Apparently some sharp-sharp readers in Naija didn't look at the date of the article.

The April Fools day article said that Dbanj was shot by three unknown gun men on his way from the Atlanta residence of his G.O.O.D Music boss, Kanye West, after which he was rushed to St Joseph’s Hospital, where he died some minutes later as a result of complications from gunshot wounds.
