14 Killed as Explosions Hits Christian Students Fellowship In BUK

Explosions at Bayero University Kano BUK

Two explosions were targeted at St Stephen Catholic Chaplain, a Catholic student fellowship at the old campus of Bayero University in Kano leading to the death of at least 14 people according to police sources.

This hit was made in the early hours of today when the students fellowship started at 8am. Two bomb explosions were said to have rocked the University's theater where the Christian students normally have their Sunday services.

As if the double explosion did not satisfy the attackers, they opened fire that lasted for several minutes, until the police came to the rescue.

Prof Ayodele of the Chemistry Department and Prof Andrew Leo of the Library Department, were among worshipers attacked at Theater. The university’s Public Relation Officer, Malam Zaharadeen, confirmed the death of the professors.

A source carrying out the bodies said “we have recovered 14 dead bodies so far and transfer same to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital.”

If this attack was carried out by Boko Haram, so the fight has left the government, it got to the media and now STUDENTS? Kai they have just pushed the wrong button.
