Jim Zaccheus was arrested on Wednesday by the Rivers State Police for allegedly killing and secretly burying his girlfriend, Peace Matthias in his room last Saturday in Elechi beach area, Diobu, Port Harcourt.

Its was gather that this kata-kata between the lovers, started when the suspect saw a new hairstyle on his girlfriend's hair and got curious as to where she got the money to execute the expensive looking hair construction.

The guy, who was not satisfied with the explanation his babe was giving, resulted to beating the babe black and blue which led to her death.

Statements from the new Rivers State Commissioner of police, Mohammed Indabawa: “I think he had a quarrel with his girlfriend. Then he killed her and buried her in his room,” the commissioner said.

However, neighbours had suspected the movements of the suspect, coupled with a strong stench that was coming out of the room and had alerted security operatives who forced the door open and exhumed the victim’s decomposing body.

The police commissioner said that the suspect has already confessed to committing the crime and will soon be charge to the court once investigation into the matter is concluded.
