The Film and Video Producers and Marketers' Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN) have taken some steps to ensure that their Nigerian films would no longer be aired on Nigerian televisions either cable or terrestrial.
May 1 2012 has been declared their commencement date for this new "law", in other words, likes of African Magic would only show old Nigerian Films.

But looking into the matter, the association started this "deal" with the cable networks for intentions of extending their tentacles. Now its almost mission completed for the association on getting wide broadcast, na now them want money.

They say if you want to watch film, go and buy the DVD. For their mind, they have closed market for African Magic, make we see wetin go happen for Alaba Pirates.
