The Vice Chancellor of Enugu State Uni Of Technology (ESUT) Professor Cyprian Onyeji, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen who abducted him in front of the university's gate at about the hours of 11:00 am yesterday.

Based on intel coming from eye witnesses, the VC who was escorted by police men, was returning to the campus before men-dem atacked them and shot three of his police escorts, injuring them badly.

They took the VC's car with him inside the vehicle and zoomed off. No demands has been made yet.
