In her first acting role, the Queen was seen to leave Buckingham Palace with Bond, played by Daniel Craig, entered a helicopter...destination...Olympic Stadium. The queen and 007 — or, rather, actors portraying them — then parachuted into London’s opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics.
The two parachutists are really Gary Connery (the Queen) and Mark Sutton Bond) who actually never made it into the stadium but landed somewhere near Stratford Station.
The four-and-a-half minute film was set in her private study at Buckingham Palace, where she briefed Craig, on a "secret" mission ahead of the Olympic Games.
The footage also stars a group of Brazilian schoolchildren in a gesture to the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
